One of the things I've found recently with this type of fault is that if a Rotax filter is fitted, for some reason they restrict the fuel flow to such an extent that the engine just dies at the top end.

If you have a Rotax filter fitted, try it without it.

If it cures the fault, put it in the bin and never fit another Rotax one, ever.

I presume your fuel overflow catch tank top has a hole in it or has been removed? If not, you might have found the fault.

Filter your fuel with something like a Mr Funnel.

The checks that have been offered are also good ones. It does sound fuel related.
