Not sure, but it does seem to be the obvious solution. It's not a coincidence that with the addition of pods, driving standards dropped. My dad always said if they truly wanted to stop people speeding on the roads, stop making cars safer and stick a metal spike on the steering wheel. That way no one would go above 20mph! OK so it's totally unrealistic and never going to happen, but the reasoning is sound. Take front pods away and see how many people still fancy loading up the kart in front!
