The 177 class at Clay are looking to run a Masters class within the 177 championship.

I was wondering if any other clubs already do this and if so what criteria do they use. At what age do they qualify for Masters and is it run on a straight club points from the events or do they use other criteria to try and make the racing more interesting.

There is a thread on the Clay Kart club forum at http://forum.claypigeonkartclub.com/viewtopic.php?f=13&t=101

which proposes some ideas where you get extra points for fastest lap and positions gained.

Have any other clubs tried this, or can anyone see any major pitfalls.
