The TM was the fashionable thing to have in the UK. You basically won't go wrong with a Vortex, Maxter, IAME or TM. I don't know which engines you can still get spare parts for though.

I believe race fuel in the US is much higher in Octane content. I don't know about pump fuel. If it is in fact higher then the UK then changing the squish would make it quicker but less reliable. Depends if you are racing for fun as cheap as you can or going all out to win. ICA's used to have a minimum head volume anyway so you probably can't get it much smaller.
