Ran mine for the first time on Saturday without problems. It was good to get back to the workshop, pop the drum off, spray clean with brake cleaner and be ready to run again. Add the bonus of not needing to check the balance gears every time out I would say get one.
As for those who have claimed a performance gain I could not see anything significant the only thing I did notice was a curious ringing sound in left handers which I understand was posted in a previous thread about the new clutch.
