TIREWATCH or similar temp and pressure sensors in each wheel tansmitting this info to the steering wheel display is apparently legal during a race.

Someone during a race, monitoring / receiving the same data whilst on the pit wall with the same display unit on the lanyard or watch strap opption is considered "receiving transmitted data", not allowed !!!

From asking scrutineers and the technical dept MSA last year
