Hi init,

We run a WTP B5 and use a Denso IW24 in cold weather and IW27 in Summer months: I think the same, more or less, applies to the B1 engine.

The IW24 runs hotter at the tip, keeping the tip clean, avoiding oiling-up in cold conditions. If you are running with excess oil, and a novice driver, the IW24 may be the one to use.

If you are at PFI, ask Paddy or Mike Mills what the recommendations are. You will find them pleased to help newcomers to the game.

Hope this helps.

Dave.
