luke, do you have the twin cylinder or single cylidner master cylinder? If you have the twin as my venom does, and it's not bled properly, that's probably why one's sticking out more than the other,

Also it may have fluid in there, but if you have air trapped then when you push the pedal, it's compressing the air and it won't move the pistons much, the whole system needs to be completley free of air.
