Since no one has found a satisfactory method for testing rotax slippy clutches, I would like to suggest one. This would require a calibrated rev counter and a calibrated spring balance, the balance would be attached to a fixed anchor with a strap, the balance would be hooked on the rear bumper of the kart, the engine would be run up to 3000 rpm and the force measured on the spring balance. This force will have to be decided by JAG.
