Assuming you have the correct bearings, on one face of the carrier is a small notch about 15mm in length. Make sure the pinch bolts in the carrier are loose, rotate the bearing 90deg onto its side, push in at the notch then rotate 90deg into position. Install the whole assembly in the kart. The pinch bolts should be the last thing you tighten.
