Hi, on my carb (walbro) when me and my dad were adjusting the jets, moving in the low jet caused the engine revs to pick up. When we then came to the track my dad moved the low jet in and the kart was quicker. So in theory because when you turn in the low jet the engine tries to accelerate on it's own (we had the throttle shut when we tried it on the stand), so when you open up the throttle the engine flies. This is just what me and my dad observed with my engine, it might be different for your carb/engine, you can only try and see - but don't go too far or you'll melt the piston. Don't touch the high jet though as if you lean that off you'll more than likely melt the piston as it needs the oil at high revs! Hope this helps, Thomas........
