Cadet front nose cones do need the flat front edge. However, the Zip storm nosecone does have MSA approval in being compliant. When the storm first came out there was a case of a scrutineer failing it, until the MSA approval was highlighted.

We are now in Minimax, but have seen this type of accident too often. I remember one last year in S1 practice at Rowrah.
