well slow down, and avoid it, loosing a couple of places has got to better than keeping your foot in and hoping for the best, because if you collide it could be small, but it could be a big crash in which case you'd ruin both kart's. Also if you look at it as if your the person in the spun kart, would you want people just keeping it flat-out as they come past? I think slowing down is the best option...
