Robbie,
forgive me for this but, there is a cutaway in the engine mount and this is designed to go around the seat mounting lug that comes up from the chassis rail - you don't have your engine mounted in front of the lug do you?
Again, apologies for asking but also have you got the engine mounted so its leaning forward on its mount?
Sorry for the questions but when I encounter problems, I always eliminate things one by one starting with the most basic first so please don't take offence as none is intended!
