I believe that FKS did do a deal on the ferry costs from Scotland this year so may well be worth contacting Corolynn/Debbie to see if they can do something on the Newcastle route for next year.
I know it is too late for this year but have a look on the Norfolk Line site for the Rosyth fare with the offer code SOT just to see how that would have compared.
We always treated the Genk trip as a bit of a holiday but then touring round the UK to kart tracks has now become our holidays.
