I mentioned this to a scrut at Llandow a few months ago.

The bearing dosn't actually have to turn at a High RPM because once the clutch is fully engaged the bearing does nothing but support the drum.

The bearing only rotates on overrun or at idle.

Oilite sleeve bearing would be a perfect answer.
