I have searched the forum and I have read that article and I am sure if you are experienced with the rotax engine it is very useful. Let me assure you that when you have little or no experience of the rotax engine it is about as useful as a chocolate fireguard. I thought a simple question like is a 142 main jet normal in a Junior Max would have been fairly easy to answer (the article mentions a 162 for a junior in the summer, so is 142 normal in the autumn), that is there must be a normal set of jets that everyone uses in different classes. I realise each engine and carb will be slightly different but there must be a "normal range". I apologise if the question is silly I will refrain from asking any others. Tommy
