As the regs. are written, I interpret them as you have to be 68kg or over to run without a restrictor. Anyone can run with a restrictor, but can you make the 144 kg lower wieght limit?

A 68 kg driver (on a Tony viper) runs 5-6 Kg lead and 4 kg (5 litres) fuel.

152-6=146. Need to shed 1 to 2 kg to make the wieght. Not too difficult with carefull selection of components, race suit and/or small fuel tank. Not probable if running TAG motor.

The next question is:- Are the tyres going to last better at 144 kg than 152 kg?

I believe in JTKM lighter was better in 2009. We shall see.
