If you are trying to sell something and are not running a business selling on there, then it's great. Having said that if the fee's were zero you wouldn't get any more money for your items because all the other sellers would just reduce their prices by 10% and therefor reduce the market value of the product you are selling. That 10% fee what Ebay charges effectively helps hold the value of karts being sold on here in the market place.
