Hi All,
I got a right good belt from the HT lead on our 100cc a/c motor (it's OK to laugh). So, I split some petrol pipe and wrapped it round the lead to insulate it, told my son he would be fine because:
1. It was now insulated and
2. He was wearing gloves
and yes, he got a belt too, through his gloves.
To cut a long story short, there was no earth strap (the one that goes from one side of the rubber bobbin to the other)when I changed the coil, is this the reason we got a shock?
