Why are you guys waiting. Why do you need more experience in TKM or Max. Some people start in gearbox and on L/C to boot so cannot see why you need to wait. You can buy really good 125 open kit for as little as two grand and most gearbox kit is built much better than direct drive kit which is built down to a price. None of this stupidity of having to buy a new frame part way into the season because the chassis has gone tired. They do that because they are c**p material. If you look at the big picture of costings it is cheaper in many cases.
Go on follow your instincts you wont regret it.
Its the biggest bang for your buck. Ian
