It could also be worth buying a couple of plastic 5 ltr fuel containers and mark them "Atol" and just use a cable tie or bit of tape to indicate if it contains mixed fuel.

Storing fuel in a metal can is not ideal as you can get condensation which mean water in the fuel - more likely with part filled cans.

One of the yellow funnels that take out water is a useful tool and we also use a good filter to ensure no dirt gets into the mixture (do this with pump fuel as well as Atol).
