I don't see the point in either a pace kart or the Battenburg

In car racing, a stuck car may need several marshalls to move and may take a few minutes - but as regridding is more of a headache than it is in karting, they neutralise the race

In karting, most immobilized karts can be cleared away by 1 or 2 people quite quickly - should a driver be seriously hurt and needs attention, then the red flag should be brought out in any case - plus stopping karts and reorganising them is far easier

The only time I was in a race and the battenburg was used, there were 2 accidents at the restart as a result of people trying to launch a sudden surprise attack as soon as the snake got to the line
