had a small incident wherby i clipped the front left. bent left tie-rod and steering column, got parts changed, kart tracks perfect with lasers. However, Ive measured on a flat ground the chassis to the ground at different points, and theyre all equal within 1mm tolerance, using a venier.
problem is that when I measure tip of stub axle(where tie rod attaches) to the ground, the left stub axle is 6mm higher off the ground. Also, when full lock applied, left tyre is appx 3/4mm higher off the ground when compared to the other side.
Now, i was told when it was lasered that i may have bent my kingpin, as apparantly the kart wasnt sitting flat by 1mm, but now I'm unsure if the king-pin is very slightly out, or its infact the stub axle.
BTW, i measure the actual rim clearance of ground, not the tyre incae theyre not equal.
well, I know i'm only talking about a few mm, but I want it perfec. any suggestions?
  thnks.
