I can't remember off the top of my head how to do it but you can change the first strip that the mychron effectively sees. If you set the start of the lap as the third strip then the actual lap time will be displayed as he passes the pits. It will also be what the club's timing system will see. If it is set on any other strips then sometimes you can get a small discepancy with the mychron against the club's timing system. This is rarely the case if you set the mychron so the start of the lap is on the third strip.
I've got to say, the mychron is pretty easy to use and I'm sure you can find the option/menu that allows this.
