In addition to the blue/gold books you also need to note any regulation changes or clarifications published in MotorSport now or in the news section of this site. This one came out a few months ago:-

Regulation Clarification (11/02)

The Motor Sports Association has issued a clarification of Regulation U16.18 to correct the procedures for the sampling of fuel, in line with the 2009 Regulations.

Regulation U16.18 should therefore read:

"For all Classes, to enable a fuel test to be conducted 3 litres of fuel should be present and a minimum of one litre of fuel must be present at the end of each race. The penalty for failure to have the minimum quantity present is exclusion from the results in that race."

Exclusion now is if you have less than 1ltr of fuel at the end of the race. 3ltr never worked for cadets where they only have a 3ltr tank.
