Engine Servicing The Leopard engine has already been proven to be an ultra reliable package with service intervals extending to 20hrs. It has been seen however that the long term life of the engine can be significantly extended by carrying out an interim service at 10hrs.  For guidance I would expect an interim and full service to be approx 6 months apart, depending on how much practice you do. An average race weekend, race Sunday practice Saturday will put approx 75mins on an engine  Interim Service at 10hrs  Engine Strip and re-assembly  It is likely that at 10hrs will recommend at light precision hone combined with a new piston, ring and small end cage O ring set Main bearings Oil seals. Typical 10hr interim service total cost  Labour £67 + Parts £101 = £168+vat  Full Service Engine Rebuild 20hrs  Engine Strip and re-assembly  It is likely that at 20hrs will recommend at light precision hone combined with a new piston, ring and small end cage and Pin. At the full service the crank will be split down and the crank pin and big end cage replaced, the crank will be re-assembled and trued.  Full service rebuild parts  Including - Piston inc ring, Small end cage, Gudgeon pin, High Quality SKF/FAG(Or Class controlled Bearing) main bearings, crank pin, Thrust washers, Big end cage, Gaskets and seals. Typical 20hr Full Service rebuild cost  Labour £86 + Full Parts £170 = £256+vat
