This class is for one make of engine but open chassis. Can we support it? Really down to the customers - if they like the idea then it will work.

Birel have been very successful in promoting Easykart - now have distributors in 15 countries so perhaps if this series is promoted as they have suggested then it will attract drivers. If the class is open then there is less incentive to promote it whereas if Birel are supplying the engines and Vega supply the tyres then funding for promotion should follow.

You can see why Vega would be interested if they are likely to lose the UK Rotax market next year and they do supply the tyres for easykart - although without any of the quality problems that seem to hit Rotax.

On the forum I have seen people saying how good the `Blue' and `NKRA' series are but IMHO they seem to suffer from a lack of publicity/promotion.
