..... the 3 piece bumpers are a nightmare. Especially if these are going on the Super Cadet, they are more dangerous than the ZIP nose cone, as they allow so much deflection that the kart behind rides up onto the top of the rear wheel which then propels them into the back of the kneck of the driver in front. Once they have had a bit of use, small amount of pressure will deflect the whole end of the bumper onto the ground, must be where Redbull got their nose cone design from.

We've had several serious accidents since this was introduced in France and some serious injuries, this even with foam kneck braces being mandatory. I've seen photos of karts literally piled 3 high from rolling lap accidents. Myself and several others I know of have have retired from the class because of the danger. Children will be seriously injured if this goes ahead.

Furthermore if it's the same KG part, they are only certified for non race use on Baby and Mini karts, they are not crash tested and look like something out of Toys-R-Us. There is also even less penalty for those pushing as they don't push the front of the following kart down like the angled metal bars do. What a nightmare, could be the final straw for me to do anymore Cadet karting.
