Would someone be so kind as to answer my possibly 'stupid' question...
I'm new to karting and have noticed that on the side of my minimax rotax engine, there is a black plastic round 'thing'. I've checked on shops websites and it shows the item as a crankcase oil filler/air vent.
Here's the possibly 'stupid' bit... Whilst I know the engine is 2 stroke and mix the fuel and 2 stroke oil etc,
1. Is there a seperate oil for the crankcase and if so, how do you check the level and what oil if needed do you put in there.

Apologies again, but I'm new, learning and want to ensure I learn correctly.
Thanks
How
