As usual people on here go off on a tangent - if you read Alanrr's post, he is referring to a(nother) stupid rule, not whether it will work or not or give any performance advantage!
To me, it seems like an utterly ludicrous rule and one that's been put in for the sake of putting a rule in, after all, if everyone is allowed to do it, where's the harm?
and they say health & safety is bad...
