You can try working the pistons in and out a few times be carefully not to pop the pistons out but Would be a good idea to change seals

It only needs a little more friction to bias the pressure and therefore piston operation once

just about every brake apart from calipers with a balance tubes used on higher formula will bias 1 piston therefore. 1 Piston will work before the other

in operation once 1 pad is in contact the other will follow
