You mean laid on their sides and allowed to gather dust?

There is not really going to be that much difference between their performance and that of a TKM Extreme in any case, the difference is likely to be found in the chassis / tyres.

On the other hand, ifyou use your TKM fr racing, using something else to play on makes a certain amount of sense, other wise these are just expensive doorstops.

I still have three old DAPs that used to be Formula A engines (in 1989!). They counterbalance the garage door.

Running them on the edge is likely to cost me the same in repairs in one weekend as buying a current used 'Blue' which might last a season without work.
