Definitely don't buy a senior engine and convert it. There are plenty of junior and mmini engines out there. Only difference junior/mini is exhaust restrictor. Cost of conversion from senior is just lost money as the barrel has to be changed - the senior is machined for an exhaust valve not used in junior or minimax. Huge choice of chassis but go for a current model with good spares access.
