Re previous post about driving standards and behaviour there is some terrible driving behaviour at cadet level and I really believe it has to come from the parents and what they say to their kid.

This win at all cost mentality has always blighted karting.

My son like most young cadets doesn't bother to study the opposition perhaps in the way a more mature driver would/should but believe me I do and he is briefed who to watch out for and ways to protect himself.

The problems are worse on practice day when it seems there is no COC control whatsoever.

Some times I even say if they come along side let them go as on practice day running unregulated engines is also becoming very common in cadets and come race day the bad attitude drivers are usually no where.

My advice to anyone who has been at the receiving end of dirty driving is not to confront in parc ferme. Go straight to see the COC and tell them what has happened. If the incident was reported then he will get them in for a chat and if not then he has been made aware and will look out for that driver's number in the next races.

Beleive me this approach does work and it keeps you on the right side of the authorities.
