Common problem, i had that once or twice, my team taught me how to deal with it. Just before you round the last bend, or before the launch point of the start, give it it full throttle, then back down to 50% throttle, and give it full throttle for the start. worked every time, never bogged down again! Found out later it was common practice amongst the regulars to do this!

This would explain why when they do a second roll lap, the issue is gone
