Ian -you will need one licence and can put both your sons on it. There was another post where a grandfather runs his two grandsons but was told only mum or dad could hold the PG licence so he will need an authorisation letter for every meeting.
Your eldest son will not need a licence as he will use an authorisation letter from ther parents of the driver he is running - if the parent is not at the track to sign on their child.
You/the school will only need CMR helmets for the 2012 season if you have a cadet driver. From 01.01.13 all drivers under 15 will need them but anyone needing a new helmet now might as well get the CMR if they will be under 15 in 2013.
