Ok John
If I decide to appeal against the technical decision, I take it that it would have to go to Paul Klassen for his ruling. But once again, we are asking the question, what is he measuring the carb against. Does he have an official fische from the manufacturer to measure against.
If he finds a measurement outside of these unofficial figures, does he then uphold the appeal because he feels that the carb must have been altered, therefore the competitor is deemed to have cheated.
I just feel that once again Rotax is left stepping into a minefield which JAG should be taking steps to clear up asap.
I would still like to see what guidance the MSA gives to scrutineers regarding the use of measuring equipment.
