I gave quite a thorough check over all my carbs last night and the butterfly on one of them opens over centre. Also all the jets were black with dirt on all of them.

I'm switching the in-line filter to an in-tank one. Cleaned up the jets (rest of the carb looks immaculate on all of them) and will see if I can fix the butterfly on the one that's going over centre.

Thanks for all the advice, I'll be using them on Sunday so I'll give an update next week on whether the changes worked.
