No, no tyre marking, no engine numbers taken, you can change your tyres to whatever you want between heats and can switch engines.
You would think that it's a bad thing allowing the tyres to be open but it allows everyone to compete no matter what class of kart you have or how old it is.
I did a couple of race meetings this year and next year I fully intend to be doing all the race meetings. The competition is heating up but the racing is hard and fair, it's a breath of fresh air for karting as a whole and I expect the grids will continue to grow next year. I quite fancy having a crack at the championship, with the competition on the grid it's one worth winning.
