could be a) if the air density / temperature was much the same.

do you have a data logger?

use it to find out your engines performance for a given carb set up.

change the jetting and see if thats better or worse. find an optimum (richer rather than leaner) and note down the air parameters.

do this for a few days where the air density is signifcantly different and youll soon have enough data to refer back to.

remember that jets, tho marked the same, do vary
