I was running 4 psi rear and 6 psi front (cold) for a season. It wasn't deliberate, just a rubbish tyre pressure gauge. This was on a set of normal Jet alloy rims without retainers running Vega SL6 rubber. During that time I did pop off a rear tyre when running wide over a curb.

Although I was still competitive at these pressures, once I bought a decent gauge and realised how low I'd been running I increased the pressures to the 'norm'.
