TKM Extreme has a minimum driver weight of 68 kg if you want to run without a restrictor. Running with a restrictor allows the karts to be 6 kg lighter. Overall lap times are incredibly similar running at minimum weight with and without restrictor, assuming gearing is changed appropriately. I sometimes feel the (generally younger) drivers running at 146 kg have a slight advantage on corner exit, and a slight disadvantage in top speed.

Overall I think there's quite a nice transition from Junior to Senior in this particular formula, but it does mean that it's difficult to be competitive in Senior if you weigh 12 stone or more. It was a good incentive for me to lose some weight anyway...
