We tested a Rotax (snr) on Komets at GYG and were around .3 a lap qicker than D2, so the tyre is without doubt softer. But saw no improvement in life, almost the same infact. As long as the weather is OK we will be testing this weekend with full spec X30 @162kg, with new komets. One fact has come to light both our engines are better on the dyno with the Tilly carb than the Tyrton used in Europe.
