From the General thread, it looks as if there are still problems in Honda with the timing - not resolved with the timing tool.
Comer complaints tended to be the selected part/expensive engines and then the tryton carb. Honda had similar issues with selected part engines and still with timing.
Iame has had some teething issues but still relatively early days and it has the advantage of being the official British Championship engine.
Think you just need to settle on one class and work through the issues.
