thanks for the advice,the only one to reply i might add. haha maybe you have misread my inital post tho, im not experiencing problems with the engine, we can manage the engine temp fine at 55 degrees as had been suggested, i was merely stating that whilst racing we were finding that out laptimes and general performance overall was better at a higher engine temp. where can i find the data to show there is a power dip after 40 degrees? its interesting that you suggest that when rotax advises that you should refrain from full throtle until engine temp is 40 degrees min? and that optimum temp is 65 ive just read that from the rotax operating manual.
