Are you sure Maxxis didn't just change the name (like all tire manufacturers do with new iterations).

They currently have supposedly three 'national' tyres, the HG1, SLH and SLR. Two CIK FIA homologated tyres (MM and MH).

Back in the day that TKM used SLC's (and i used to work in hire kart place) we used Cheng Shin greens (same company same tyre) and they were 50 a set.

So basically you are being ripped off.
