Matt97 - I don't know how much run-out you are looking at but it might be interesting for you to consider that on both of the unused 2015 OTK chassis on the KKC stand at kartmania, there was enough run-out on the disc / carrier assembly for the pads to lightly contact the disc on one side briefly during rotation. In normal use, careful cleaning and assembly of the carrier on the axle keyway and of the disc on the carrier can help them to run closer to true unless there really has been impact damage. Sometimes you notice bind more when the caliper seals need replacing as the pistons will not self retract as freely as they were designed to.
