Hi shadow,
we run our TKM jnr with 2 1/4 low and 10 mins (approx) high.
Attention to carbs is critical. Our carbs (of which 4)are ultrasonic cleaned and assembled in the workshop never in the pits. If we have carb problems,(rare since we adopted this regime)we fit another unit.
Carb work in the pits is limited to removing oil from the fuel pumping diaphram and removing(with a small painting brush)deposits caught in the filter leading to the metering valve.
Sparkplug breakdown can give similar symptoms: tried a new plug?
