No, I understand with ref testing the coil windings im an electrician by trade, but I thought that the Rotax coils had some sort of an electronic timing system built into them and that's what was checked somehow.
I might be wrong on this but ive heard of people having them checked to see which was their best coil to match them to the engine. maybe they are testing the voltage output for the best detonation?
